SAL Child Care Connection of Central Illinois provides information, resources, and support to families in search of quality child care within our nine counties. Whether your family needs assistance locating child care or assistance applying for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), our office is happy to provide services for you and your family.

Pay for Child Care

The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) offers child care assistance to those who qualify through the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). Parents who meet income eligibility requirements and are working and/or going to school are encouraged to apply for child care assistance. Once the completed application is submitted, one of our CCAP specialists will review it and may request additional information.
